Psalm 27:1-3
The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked advance against me
to devour[a] me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.
Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.
This has been a rough week for Americans, many lives have been lost and many other lives have been changed forever. The GVYR’s continue to pray for the victims in Boston and West, Texas and their loved one, the heroes that ran towards a blast, and towards a fire, and the first responders who risk their lives every day.
While Bostonians sang the National Anthem in honor of the First Responders who where responsible for apprehending one of the terrorist responsible for Monday’s Boston Marathon Bombing–we know they were singing for Texas too.
